FAQ

Where & when will auditions be held?

You will be notified via e-mail of the date and location of your audition.

What do I need to bring with me to the audition?

Upon arrival to the venue you will be required to show two forms of identification as proof of age, one of which must show your photo, a signed release, and the registration number which was e-mailed to you. Make sure your release is completed and signed.

Can someone else attend the audition with me?

Only one other person can attend the initial audition with you. Anyone else will be required to leave for your audition to occur.

Does my parent have to come with me if I am under 18?

if you are under 18 on the day of your audition, a parent or legal guardian must be with you. Your parent or legal guardian must bring a photo ID (for example, a driver’s license or passport). In addition to their photo Id, if you are accompanied by a legal guardian, as opposed to a parent, your legal guardian must bring legal documentation evidencing their relationship with you (for example, a court order). The same parent or legal guardian must accompany you to all audition days.

Will everyone who registered be given an opportunity to audition?

This will depend on how many people show up for the auditions. Although we would love to audition everyone who registers, it may be impossible given time constraints built into our schedule. There is no guarantee that everyone who registers will be given the opportunity to audition. If our time is running short the Producers may walk around the venue to pick out people to audition based on performing ability, look, style, personality and other factors at Producers’ sole discretion.

What happens if I am late for the audition?

Everyone must show up for the audition on the scheduled day no later than the time instructed by the Producers. If you are late, you may not have a chance to audition.

Are their appointments for the audition or is it “cattle call” style?

Auditions for the first round are not by appointment. All contestants will appear at the same designated place and time as instructed by the Producers.

Is there a charge for my audition?

No. Initial auditions are free.

Is there a charge for parking at the venue?

The venue will charge a five dollar fee per person to enter the Ballroom for each round of the Competition. No children under the age of five will be allowed to enter the Ballroom.

I am under 18. If my parents signed the release form, do they still have to come with me to the audition?
